Zubin Mehta & Daniel Barenboim – cancelled!

Unfortunately, the concert has to be cancelled due to Daniel Barenboim’s illness. Together with his long-time companion Zubin Mehta and the BRSO, Daniel Barenboim’s imminent 80th birthday was to be celebrated on this evening. Both artists have expressed their wish to make up for this joint concert in Munich at the earliest possible date.

The musicians of the BRSO would be delighted if, instead of a refund, you decided to attend the SZ charity concert at the Isarphilharmonie on Friday, November 11, 2022. Daniel Harding will conduct a programme of works by Richard Strauss that evening. This concert, the proceeds of which will go to people in need, is an initiative of our former chief conductor, Mariss Jansons. Daniel Harding, who has long enjoyed a close and friendly working relationship with the BRSO, will thankfully waive his fee for the benefit of this evening’s benefit. If you prefer a refund, please contact the point of sale where you purchased your tickets. If you purchased your tickets at BRticket and already have them in your hands, please send them to BRticket, Hopfenstr. 4, 80335 Munich, Germany by November 30, 2022 at the latest (for print@home: please send us the ticket PDF by e-mail to service@br-ticket.de). In any case, please include your bank details (IBAN). If you paid for your tickets by phone or online by credit card, the ticket value will be credited there after the tickets have been returned. If you purchased your tickets at another Munich ticket agency, please contact them for the reversal. BRticket cannot take back these tickets for technical reasons.
