The BRSO’s new concert format is as varied, colourful and unconventional as the grounds of its future new concert hall. Anton Barakhovsky, the orchestra’s concertmaster, launched this concert series early last May, performing Bach’s Chaconne to an empty chair – a mirror image of Munich’s cultural landscape at the time, brought to a standstill by the corona virus. Then, step by step, the listeners were again allowed to take their seats. The BRSO will now continue this chamber music series at various venues in the Werksviertel-Mitte cultural complex, thereby solidifying their ties to their future home.
Ticket presale begins on 9th February 2021.
Provided that the legal regulations permit concerts with audiences, the concerts of the BRSO take place on the communicated dates and times. Tickets can be purchased by phone on 0800 5900 594, online at shop.br-ticket.de or via this website. You can find more information about ticket purchase here.
