Akademie des Symphonieorchesters des BR

Every two years, the BRSO Academy holds its traditional baroque concert, in which the stipendiaries focus on the interpretation of works from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Under the direction of Stefan Schilli, principal oboist of the BRSO, the young musicians fill the Technikum with baroque sounds and bring a suite an concerti by Bach, Vivaldi, Mossi and Telemann to life in an urban setting.

NEW REGULATIONS FROM NOVEMBER 24, 2021: “2G” BECOMES “2G PLUS” WITH MASK OBLIGATION

Due to the new Corona regulations of the Bavarian State Government (15th BayIfSMV), which came into force on November 24, 2021, the “2G plus” rule will apply to the concerts of the BRSO. This means that concert attendance is now only possible for persons with a valid proof of vaccination or convalescence and a negative rapid antigen test (24 hrs old) or PCR test (48 hrs old). Please bring the above-mentioned proof and a photo ID with you to your concert visit. Children and adolescents from the age of 12 must also show proof of vaccination or convalescence and proof of testing.

Wearing an FFP2 mask is mandatory at all times while in the venue. This also applies at the venue during the concert.

We ask for your understanding that the “2G plus” checks will take considerably more time at the entrance (2G proof + test proof + ID check).

The new regulation also stipulates that only 25% of the seats in the hall may be occupied. Should the City of Munich’s incidence exceed 1000, the concert would have to be cancelled.
