“MINI RESIDENCY” WITH YO-YO MA
World-famous cellist Yo-Yo Ma will come to Munich in January 2016 for a mini residency with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks. It will include two performances of Richard Strauss’ “Don Quixote” with the orchestra’s principal violist Wen Xiao Zheng, conducted by Mariss Jansons, as well as a solo recital featuring all six cello suites by Johann Sebastian Bach and a public masterclass for young cellists.
