Information about the programme
Music draws together. The BRSO’s Orchestra Academy and the Bavarian State Orchestra are continuing their successful collaboration with a joint concert for brass instruments. For the first time the trumpets, French horns, trombones and tubas of these two ensembles will present splendid arrangements and brilliant original works in a large chamber format. Joined by musicians from both orchestras, they have concocted an exciting programme with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Peter Warlock and Dieter Wendel as well as “show tunes” and traditionals.
