The BRSO in times of Corona
The BRSO in the Werksviertel: Watch this Space
#musicconnectsus: Greetings from the home office

#mucKultur
… stands for an alliance of several Munich cultural institutions that want to show during the lockdown: We are still here!
And we are giving everything to stay connected with our audience. At the same time, we would like to use the hashtag #ohneKulturwirdsstill to draw attention to the situation of artists who are currently only able to perform to a limited extent or not at all and are therefore unable to work.
The participants so far are:
Bayerische Staatsoper
Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks
Gasteig München GmbH
Münchner Kammerspiele
Münchner Philharmoniker
Münchner Rundfunkorchester
Münchner Volkstheater
Residenztheater
Schauburg
Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz
Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks

• The BRSO in the Werksviertel: Watch this Space
The concertmaster of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra is starting our series “Watch this space” in the Munich Werksviertel, the place where the orchestra’s future home will be built. Since no public concerts are currently possible, Anton Barakhovsky plays in front of an empty chair. But we hope that in the coming weeks more musicians and more listeners will be added. Because music connects – especially in these times!
