Mariss Jansons conducts Beethoven 1-9

He is the favorite conductor of the top-orchestras and we had to wait for Mariss Jansons very own Beethoven interpretation quite long, but finally his complete recordings of the nine Beethoven Symphonies are there - and if we believe him this recording will stay the only one made by him! This performances of the Symphonies, released on BR-KLASSIK label, were recorded in Munich and Tokio between 2008 and 2012. On this 6-CD-edition the Symphonies are complemented with six compositions by contemporary composers.
