BRSO ON TOUR IN EUROPE 2017
Concerts IN Vienna, Paris, Wrocław, Katowice, Milan, Luxembourg And Amsterdam – 29 Jan – 7 Feb 2017

From January 29 to February 7 the BRSO has been on the road again! This time it was in Europe, with concerts in Vienna, Paris, Milan, Luxemburg and Amsterdam. Furthermore there were two concerts in Poland, in Wroclaw and Katowice. Both cities opened their new concert halls only recently in 2014 and 2015.
The concerts featured Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 9 and Sergej Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances. Mezzo-soprano Gerhild Romberg has been singing Gustav Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder in Vienna and Paris, Janina Baechle has been singing it in Wroclaw and Katowice.
